2023 2nd International Conference on Smart Grid and Energy Systems (SGES 2023)

On August 25-27, 2023, the 2023 2nd International Conference on Smart Grid and Energy Systems (SGES 2023), hosted by South China University of Technology, Guizhou University and Guizhou Electric Power Test Research Institute, and undertaken by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center, was successfully held in Guiyang, China!
Mr. Guangze Ouyang from Guizhou Electric Power Science and Research Institute delivered the opening address on behalf of the organizing committee, extending a warm welcome to all attendees both on-site and online. The conference featured invited keynote speeches by Professor Zhe Chen from Aalborg University, Professor Jizhong Zhu from South China University of Technology, Professor Udaya K. Madawala from University of Auckland, Professor Zhukui Tan from Electric Power Research Institute of Guizhou Power Grid Co. Ltd., and Research Zhifeng Sun from China Academy of Building Research. They shared the latest research findings and insights in their respective fields, engaging in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies and development trends in Smart Grid, Energy Systems and other related areas.
The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation. More than 80 experts, scholars, and graduate students from universities and research institutions worldwide attended the conference. Through various forms of exchange such as keynote speeches, oral presentations, and poster sessions, participants engaged in fruitful discussions on topics related to the conference, providing new ideas and inspiration to advance the field and promote international academic collaboration and development in related research areas.
